Amigos.com is a dating site from the popular Friend Finder Network. The Friend Finder Network have quite a few different dating sites targeted towards specific types of individuals although the layout and features are fairly similar. Most of their websites are open to people of almost all countries. Amigos is for latinos and latinas looking to find relationships with each other.
Features
Amigos.com includes features such as video profiles, chat rooms, message boards and there is also an interactive magazine feature. The interactive magazine is filled with dating tips, advice and stories which members can participate in. Members can add people they like or found interesting to their hot list so they can quickly find their profiles the next time they log in.
The website also has a “Cupid” service, which notifies users when a new member that matches their preferences signs up.
Cost
A good thing about websites of the Friend Finder network is that the free memberships have much more access compared to other dating sites although it is still somewhat limited. Free members can look at profiles of only paid members and have very limited search functions. They cannot search by any location smaller than a state or a province. Free members can view only the main photo of paid members.
However, free users can contact some members, respond to email, talk in the chat rooms, and post on message boards.
The paid Silver Membership and Gold Membership can view all profiles including free ones. The listing of paid members appear first. Also, paid members have much more search options and can search by zip code, city, and distance. Paid members can view video of other members. Silver members can view up to 5 photos of other members while gold members can view all photos. Silver members get their pictures and videos approved quicker then free members while Gold members have even higher priority.
The cost depends on how many months you pay in advance. For Silver Membership, it is $15 month by month, $29 for 3 months, and $69 for a year. For Gold Membership, it is $23 for a month by month basis, $40 for 3 months, and $100 for a year.
